A Year After the Storm

Enright Tree Service render truckA year ago was the devastating storm that resulted in losing over 250 trees in the cemetery. A big thank you to Enright Tree Service for an awesome and professional job clearing the storm damage. As Breast Cancer survivor I personally love this truck!

Eglington accidentally posted a message today with incorrect Mother’s Day clearing dates. These dates are already completed. Holiday clearing dates are typically a week after holidays. We apologize for any confusion.

Williamstown High School Trip to Eglington Cemetary

Williamstown High School has been coming to Eglington Cemetary for years on a tour of the cemetery for their Death and Dying class taught by Tim Rue. Always an impressive group of young adults and full of questions. We have over the years greatly enjoyed their yearly visit and consider the class lessons, which also tours a funeral home, extremely valuable for the students. It’s all about making the right choices.

Position: Accountant Part-Time

Responsibilities:
Provides financial information to management by conducting monthly closings for multiple related companies

Accountant Job Duties:
Prepares monthly journal general entries utilizing industry specific software interfaces to Quickbooks.
Prepares monthly sales analyses reports.
Recommends financial actions by analyzing sales and payable transactions.
Maintains weekly cash balances. Prepares monthly bank reconciliations.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending polices and procedures.
Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and solving problems.
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Serves as backup for payroll staff as needed.
